ROMA2S strengthens its industrial capabilities with two new laser cutting machines.
Our ROMA2S Transylvania Inginerie workshop, located in Pitești, Romania, continues to expand with the arrival of two new industrial laser cutting machines. These additions strengthen our production capabilities and broaden the range of metal fabrication solutions we can offer our customers.
3D laser cutting for tubes and profiles: a new 12 kW machine
Our new M36 3D laser cutting machine – 12 kW enables us to process a wide range of metal tubes and profiles, with maximum capacities of:
- 300 × 300 mm for square profiles;
- Ø 350 mm for round tubes;
- 12 metres in length.
Designed to process H, I and U sections, as well as square and round tubes, this technology enables complex 3D cutting and bevel cutting operations.
It simplifies the preparation of components for assembly and welding, while providing greater precision and flexibility in the fabrication of metal assemblies.
Sheet metal laser cutting: 20 kW of power
In addition, our workshop has welcomed a new 20 kW sheet metal laser cutting machine, featuring a large 2 × 6 metre working area.
It can cut metal sheets up to:
- 50 mm thick for steel;
- 40 mm thick for stainless steel.
This new equipment expands our sheet metal cutting and component preparation capabilities, particularly for the production of steel structures and welded assemblies.
Strengthened industrial capabilities to support our customers
With these two new machines, ROMA2S continues to develop its industrial production facilities in Romania.
These investments enable us to provide even more comprehensive solutions to our customers by combining laser cutting of tubes and profiles, sheet metal cutting, metal fabrication, welding and assembly within our Pitești workshop.
Greater production capacity, improved responsiveness and new manufacturing possibilities to meet the technical requirements of a wide range of industrial projects.
